Charrette 2017: Stack-Em High
Last Tuesday, October 3rd, was EMIT's annual Charrette. Students were given the task of designing and building a platform capable of holding up a large amount of weight.

The platform must also have at least a 1 cm clearance off of the floor. To build this platform students could only use one sheet of 8.5"x11" paper and 12 inches of tape.

After building the platform the teams had to present and sell their product to an imaginary CEO.

To test the capability of the platforms, books were stacked. The winning team had a platform that could hold up 32 books!
