EMIT Student Spotlight - Sarah Tomlinson

Sarah Tomlinson is a freshman this year. She loves dancing and her dog. Sarah has danced since she was in kindergarten and is currently dancing with a local company called

She specializes in ballet. She is enjoying her first year of high school and the EMIT program.

Recently, her English teacher Mrs. Treulieb requested students to write a short story. She also gave them application for entrance into the Marion County Public Library’s CREATE competition. Sarah’s short story won her 1st place and $200. After college Sarah wants to work for NASA. Sarah is a great student and we are excited about what great things she will accomplish in the future.
