Power Up Kickoff and Week 1
And just like that already a week has gone by since the 2018 FIRST Robotics game, Power Up, was released. Members of Team 3242 have been anxiously waiting for the release and watched it live.
January 6th was a very eventful day for all ages. The day of the game release coincided with the annual Robopalooza competition. Robopalooza is a Forest High School event for First Lego League teams to compete with their Lego robots.
After reviewing the game animation again and again, the team got to work and started brainstorming for design ideas. Members were also expected to read the game manual front-to-back. The first week is always interesting and the game this year incorporates many components, but we trust in our team. Go Illumicats!
